Lily wasn't normally impatient. This was a special case, though. She couldn't remember what she'd, no what they'd, done last night or why she was in a bed with Sirius Black and not James Potter....her fiancee. Lily wasn't the most even-keeled person out there, but she sure as hell didn't get up to the antics of her future husband's best friend. So, being beside him as he finally seemed to register what was going on and wake up...Lily was regretting whatever life choices that had lead to this predicament.
He really was ridiculous the way that he was covering himself like that; Lily managed to hold back her annoyance, though, reaching a hand up to rub at her temple, and a frown marring her face. "Do you always take this long to wake up?" She snapped, unable to quite hold it in. She wanted answers and she wanted them now.
Her left eye twitched in that same impatience as Sirius managed to trip-roll out of the bed and onto the floor, watching James' best man in his ridiculous splendor. The hand on her temple moved to cover her mouth, crossing her legs where she sat on the bed and her other hand yanking the sheets over her lap to remain decent. The headache, slight nausea, and everything else...definitely not helping her mood.
"I don't know, that's why I asked you what happened." Her red hair was knotted and sticking up in a few random places, including partially in her face. She was nowhere near put together, and she didn't care, because she'ed woken up in a bed with Sirius Black. And she had absolutely no inkling as to WHY! "I can't remember what happened last night, at all." Lily ground out, clearly, because she couldn't answer any of his questions.
And Merlin was that not a good feeling. Lily groans, scrubbing both of her hands up and down her face before dropping them into her lap...only to wind up doing a double take at her left hand. The engagement ring that had been there before was now replaced by a band and Lily stared at her left hand in horror. "Sirius.... what in Merlin's name did we do last night...." She holds up her hand in a near violent motion. "This isn't my ring...." Had she lost it? Had they done something stupid? Lily wasn't even sure where to let her mind go as she moved, crawling toward the edge of the bed in a panic and looking around the ground, to see if her ring was lying anywhere.
James wouldn't be that angry with her, she was sure, but she was angry enough with herself; that wasn't the sort of thing that she was okay with losing, at all.
I'm dyyyyyyyyyyying lmfao
