When she opens the door, Ray can't help the pleasantly surprised expression on his face. He already knew from photographs and Skype conversations that she was beautiful, but seeing her in person sort of puts it on a whole other level. She's kind of breathtaking, actually. At her comment on the flowers, Ray smiles and starts to offer them to her before he notices the look on her face.
Ray's expression falls. "Oh, no...too much?" He looks appropriately apologetic as he winces. "Too much. It's too much...right, sorry. I'm sorry, I'm not actually...very good at this? Dating. I haven't done it in a while..." he admits. And now he wonders if he ought to send the limo off and call his other driver to just bring the sedan...
"Oh! Yeah, yes. Yes, it's nice to meet you in person, too, finally. Sorry it took as long as it did. We were launching a new—you know what? Doesn't matter. No excuses. Just apologies." This time, Ray does offer the flowers to her with an apologetic smile. "These are for you."
